What’s gonna work? Small dog teamwork!
December 18th, 2006
I previously reported on a pug named Sadie that had gone missing in Ontario, Canada. Unfortunately, there is more sad newsto report in this pug’s disappearance. Sadie was found deceased by a man walking his dog.
Today’s Headlines:
Small dog dies in house fire on Cedarwood: “A small dog died in a house fire Friday night in Bellingham’s Birchwood neighborhood.”
Mobile Home Fire Injures One: “A woman nearly died in a fire Saturday afternoon while trying to save her small dog from the flames.”
Puppies rescued after kitchen fire: ”Firefighters quickly doused a small kitchen fire on High Street Wednesday morning and carried out a small dog who had been hiding with another dog under a bed, Deputy Fire Chief Gary Testagrossa said.”
More on shock collars in the UK: Dog Barking And Shock Collar Survey.
And, on a lighter note: Cat, dog lovers can unite:
“It is not uncommon to find a tabby and a hound curled up snugly with each other, sleeping in perfect peace.” I searched the internet high and low and could not find one photo of this occurrence thus rendering it untrue. Hounds and tabbys will never get along. I did find this photo of a cat though that looks like it has mated with a dachshund:
and this gem:
It gives me hope for peace in the new year. Can we get that Photoshopped in?
