There was an old woman who lived in a shoe, she had so many small dogs, she didn’t know what to do

I was shocked and confused by a headline I read this morning, Man pelted with dogs, stabbed by puppy thief. That is just cruel and unusual. “Police said the man was pelted with two puppies as he tried to stop the thief, who escaped with one dog.” The man is in serious but stable condition, no word on how the puppies are doing.
