Absence makes the small dog heart grow fonder.

I do hope that in my absence that your fondness for small dogs has increased, exponentially. One thing I know that I am fond of is the San Lazaro celebration that recently happened in Nicaragua. Annually, on March 9th, hundreds gather alongside their pets at the Santa Maria Magdalena church in Masaya, Nicaragua, where they pray for their pet’s health and safety. According to Reuters, “locals say the tradition goes back to the colonial period after the Spanish conquest.” And people claim that all colonizers brought to the new world were pestilence and death. Pish posh to that!

According to the news, 800 small dogs were seized from a triple-wide mobile home in Arizona! How is that even possible???
The Lord giveth one small dog a new leg and taketh another decorated small dog out of the spotlight. Au revoir, Uno.
I’ll drink to that:

Dear SD,
Forget trailers. How many small dogs will fit into my pockets?
Best regards,
Stephanie

Dear Stephanie:
Based on the fact that 800 small dogs fit in a triple wide trailer, I’d say at least 200-300 should fit in your pocket.
Best regards,
